As our Arsenal Tech Girls Flag Football Team prepares to compete in the upcoming Sectional at Warren Central High School, we want to share an important safety update with our families, students, staff, and supporters. Following Warren Central's home football game on Friday, October 2, 2026, a shooting occurred after the conclusion of the event. We understand that news of an incident such as this may create concerns for families and community members planning to attend the Girls Flag Football Sectional. Warren Central has communicated with participating schools that increased security measures will be implemented for the Sectional to help ensure the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators. The safety and well-being of our student-athletes and the Arsenal Tech community remain our highest priority. Our Athletic Department will continue communicating with Warren Central regarding security procedures and will share any additional information or instructions that our families need to know before arriving. We ask all members of the Titan Family attending the Sectional to: Follow all security procedures and directions from event personnel and law enforcement. Allow additional time for entry due to increased security measures. Remain aware of your surroundings before, during, and after the event. Immediately report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to law enforcement or event staff. Demonstrate positive sportsmanship and represent Arsenal Tech with pride. We appreciate Warren Central's communication regarding the additional security measures being put in place for this event. We also appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our families as we work together to support our student-athletes in a safe environment. Our girls have worked extremely hard for the opportunity to compete in the postseason, and we look forward to supporting them as they represent Arsenal Technical High School at the Sectional. Thank you for your continued support of Arsenal Tech Athletics.
