Coach Jones has been the Head Coach for the Arsenal Tech Cross Country programs for 22 years and has also been a math teacher at ATHS for 23 years. During his tenure, Arsenal Tech has captured 8 Conference Championships and has qualified 7 individuals for Regional competitions. While at Lewis Cass, he led the cross-country team to one regional and one semi-state berth and captured one sectional team championship. Head Boys Soccer/Head Boys Golf Coach

    Brian Long

I have been coaching high school for over 10 years and playing at a high level from a young age. I began my coaching career at Pike High School coaching JV Men’s Soccer. In 2016, I took over the Women’s Soccer program at Broad Ripple High School, where in two years our program numbers doubled. In 2018, I moved to the Arsenal Tech Women’s Soccer program and began to rebuild here. We began with only 6 girls, and in our first 8 years we have increased our numbers to roughly 30 players. We have had 10+ wins each of our last two seasons, two conference championships, and our first sectional championship in decades. It has been an honor running the women’s program for almost a decade, but I have finally gotten the chance to get back into men’s soccer. This summer I took over the Arsenal Tech Men’s Soccer program, where I plan to build upon our legacy as a strong program in IPS and the city of Indianapolis. Looking forward, my goal is for the Arsenal Tech Men’s Soccer program to be a State Championship contender and more importantly for our program to open up both academic and athletic opportunities for our student athletes at the next level.
